Arbor’s High Efficiency Homes save energy and money

At Arbor Homes, a building science team is charged with searching out technology to improve energy efficiency in homes, said sales and marketing manager Ben Droukas. “We’ve had it almost 10 years,” he said. “As technology improves, so do our building practices.” Arbor, which builds to Arbor Green standards, focuses on three outcomes for buyers, said Droukas: financial health (saving the buyer money through energy efficiency), physical health (use of products such as low-VOC paint) and environmental health (efficient use of the land.)
