Why Arbor

Client Testimonials

  • Gentlemen: I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the superb job your company did on my new home at Arbor Vista! I am very pleased with my new home in all regards and wanted you to know about my experience with your team of people who made all of this happen.

Arbor Homes has a very professional, dedicated team of people who worked together very well during the entire process to ensure my home was completed with the high level of quality I expected, on time, with great attention to all the details. From Jim at the design studio to Jim who handled the warranty and final inspection and the countless others who I didn't meet but saw the result of their hard work --- your team does a great job!

I'd also compliment you on your alliance with Wells Fargo and particularly Adam Ansteth who does a great job and is a real asset to have "on site" to help close deals for Arbor. I am very pleased with the professional (and fast) service Adam gave in handling my Wells Fargo mortgage.

One member of your team deserves special recognition for ALL that he did from the first day I visited at Arbor Vista -- and that is Chris Korenthal. Chris' professional dedication, effective communication, willingness to help at any time (even on days off) and his collaborative, earnest and "non-aggressive" sales style and presence are a great asset to your organization. I witnessed firsthand as Chris balanced very effectively the interests of Arbor Homes, while making me feel that I also had a good buyer's agent for my interests. As I look around my new neighborhood at all the sold signs, I suspect other customers have also found these same qualities in Chris and
    the excellent job he does!

P.S. I'll be "spreading the word" about what a fine job Arbor does and showing off my beautiful new Arbor Home to friends and extended family all over the metro area!

  • Mr. Sackhoff and Mr. Remmers- Good Morning...

I wanted to reach out and provide a little unsolicited feedback concerning Taya Mower and Chris Korenthal. My experience has been overwhelmingly wonderful with Arbor because of Taya. She has the professional quality that so many individuals lack, and that is ... she listens. Most individuals interrupt a conversation/question when they think they know where the person is headed in their train of thought; however, Taya does not. Not only does Taya listen with her "project management" ears (which she is phenomenal at), she also listens and cares with her heart. She is an invaluable asset to the Arbor Team. It has been a joy and pleasure working with her as I and my partner build our beautiful custom home at Arbor Vista!

AND it would be a shame and tragedy not to mention the great work Chris Korenthal has done and is currently doing due to the transition of Taya. He has been prompt in his responses and extremely kind in his communication. Due to Taya's transition, Chris has continued to become more and more involved in our details. Sometimes transitions or the handing off of details causes important notes and such to be lost OR not cared for as much! Thus far, my partner and I have not felt that AT ALL!!! So with that said, that means Chris has really stepped up and owned our dreams and hopes.

These two individuals are incredible people, and I feel (maybe I'm bias) both should be acknowledged and rewarded in front of their team mates. They are very rare commodities!
Thank you for pioneering such a wonderful company and contending for only top quality agents to represent you.

Wishing you, your organization and your families only the best.

  • Dana and I had the pleasure to meet Chris Korenthal back in November. At that time we were just starting to look for a new home and we weren't sure what we could afford. Chris was aware we were in no position to buy, but he took the time to show us around the neighborhood, answer any questions we had and most importantly, get to know us. He respected our situation and suggested we just touch base with Adam to get an idea what we could afford. There was no hard sell and Chris did not pressure us into doing anything.

Fast forward three months to Super Bowl Sunday. Our condo had been on the market for a few months and we got an offer. We decided to pop in to see Chris with the hopes the one home we might be able to afford was still available. Amazingly, it was. We walked in the door and not only did he remember us, but he remembered our situation. We spent the rest of the afternoon discussing what to do and the best way to go about making an offer. We made an offer. His support and efforts didn't stop there. Chris was with us every step of the way until our offer was accepted and our home closed. Any questions we had along the way were handled professionally and as if our questions were the only things he had to deal with. It didn't matter how small our needs may have been, it always seemed like it was the most important thing he had on his plate. Chris made a promise that he was here for us and he came through on that promise.

That's the back-story. The reality is, he was a pleasure to work with. His professionalism was off the charts. His knowledge of the homes (inside and out), the neighborhood, the builders and the market overall is second to none. Chris has a genuine passion for what he does and for helping to make others' dreams come true. That is such a rare thing to find these days. He truly cares about his clients and is completely committed to their needs. He is a prototype of what customer service should embody. While we don't currently know of anyone looking to buy, we would recommend Chris Korenthal and Arbor Custom Homes in a heartbeat. Should any potential buyers want to talk to an Arbor Vista home owner, please do not hesitate to provide our names. Working with Arbor was a great experience; working with Chris was an absolute pleasure. As he did for us, if there is anything we can do for him, our door is always open.

  • This letter is to describe our home buying experience at Arbor Vista last year. My fiance, Keith, and I were looking at homes in May, 2010. We had never purchased a house before and knew nothing about the process. When we realized that we could put an offer down, contingent upon financing, we were still very nervous. Chris Korenthal, the Arbor homes realtor, introduced us to Adam Ansteth and we explained our situation. From the very first moment we met him, Adam was very personable and candid. He immediately put us at ease and gave us some eye-opening tips on how credit scores were calculated. After speaking with Adam, we felt confident enough to place the offer.

After our offer was accepted, we toyed with the idea of using someone other than Wells Fargo for financing. However, we soon realized that no one else was going to be able to lock in our loan at the rate we wanted for the length of time we needed. With the added bonus of having him available to us at the same time we came to visit Chris, there really was no smarter decision we could have made than to stay with Adam and Wells Fargo. I cannot stress enough the assistance Adam offered to us in the process. In addition to assisting us in getting qualified, he kept us informed of the deadline (60 days prior to close) so we could lower our 30 year fixed loan rate. He patiently answered every question we had about closing costs, VA loan requirements, and improving our credit scores, whether it was during business hours or after hours or on weekends. He was there from the day we made the offer to the day we signed the closing paper in January of 2011.

There were some added incentives Adam gave us just for working with Wells Fargo. We got additional money back from Wells Fargo at closing just for using them. We even received passport advantage membership, which gave us discounts on restaurants and other businesses, for a year.

We cannot express our gratitude to Adam enough. He never lied to us or misrepresented the process. He turned the home buying experience from one of great anxiety and stress to a pleasant and enjoyable one. This letter is long overdue and we hope that you appreciate the great asset you have working for you.
